SaaS Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Stelv, a cloud-based manufacturing operations platform (“the Service”) operated by Stelv (“we,” “us,” “our”). By subscribing, accessing, or using the Service, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these terms.
What Stelv provides
- A cloud-hosted manufacturing ERP platform with order management, job tracking, inventory, shipping, quality management, and reporting modules.
- Real-time data synchronization, role-based access control, and a complete audit trail for ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
- Onboarding, training, data migration assistance, and ongoing technical support as defined by your plan.
Important limits
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Stelv does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free at all times.
- User seat limits, feature access, and support levels are determined by your Stelv Core subscription, the add-ons or bundles you select, and the number of seats you purchase.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the system and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
1. Service Description
Stelv is a cloud-based manufacturing operations platform designed for job shops, contract manufacturers, and precision machining operations. The Service includes modules for quoting, order management, job tracking, shop floor operations, inventory management, shipping coordination, receiving, quality management (ISO 9001:2015), reporting and analytics, equipment maintenance, and customer relationship management. Feature availability depends on the add-ons and bundles included in your subscription configuration.
2. Subscription Plans
The Service is offered as a configurable subscription. Every Customer begins with the Stelv Core base plan and may extend it with individual add-on modules or pre-bundled module groups. Pricing, included seats, and feature access are defined by the configuration you select at signup and may be changed at any time.
Stelv Core ($149/month): The required base plan. Includes 5 authorized users. Additional seats are billed at $15/month per seat. Customer organizations requiring 11 or more users must contact sales to execute a custom contract; self-service signup is capped at 10 users.
Add-ons: 20 individual modules are available across 7 functional categories, priced from $9/month to $89/month each. Add-ons attach to your Stelv Core subscription and unlock additional features and modules.
Bundles: 5 thematic bundles group related add-ons together at a combined-purchase discount, providing up to $32/month in savings versus purchasing the same modules individually.
Subscriptions are configured per-Customer using the Stelv configurator at stelv.dev/checkout. Customers may add or remove add-ons at any time; changes prorate to the day.
3. Account Registration and Access
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach. Stelv supports role-based access control (Admin, Manager, Operator, Viewer) to help you manage permissions within your organization.
4. Data Ownership and Portability
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including orders, jobs, inventory records, quality documents, customer information, and all associated files and attachments (“Customer Data”). Stelv does not claim ownership of Customer Data.
You may export your data at any time via the built-in CSV export functionality available across all modules. Upon subscription cancellation, you will have a 30-day grace period to export your data before it is scheduled for deletion.
5. Data Security and Privacy
The Service is hosted on Vercel application infrastructure with Firebase (Google Cloud) for authentication and Firestore for data storage. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including role-based access control, session timeout enforcement, and a complete immutable audit trail of all system actions.
We will not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties except as required to operate the Service (see §19 Sub-Processors) or as required by law. Third-party integrations process only the minimum data necessary for their function.
6. Uptime and Service Availability
Stelv targets 99.9% uptime for the Service. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. Stelv is not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including internet service provider failures, force majeure events, or third-party service outages (Vercel, Google Cloud / Firebase, DNS providers).
Customers on a custom contract (11+ users) may negotiate a formal SLA with defined uptime guarantees, response time commitments, and service credits for qualifying downtime events.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes related to manufacturing operations management. You may not:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks connected to the Service;
- use the Service to store or transmit malicious code, malware, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties outside your organization without written consent; or
- use the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users or exceeds reasonable usage patterns.
8. Payment and Billing
Trial. New Customers may begin with a paid 14-day trial for $49, charged at signup. The trial provides full access to the Customer’s configured plan for 14 days. If the Customer continues into a paid subscription, the $49 trial fee is applied as credit toward the first month of service. The trial fee is otherwise non-refundable except where required by law.
Auto-conversion. On day 15, the Customer’s configured plan begins billing automatically at the rate selected during configuration. Stelv will provide notice to the account owner at least 3 days before the trial converts.
Billing cycles. Subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually. Annual billing equals the monthly rate multiplied by 10 (effectively two months free). All fees are quoted in US dollars and are due in advance of the applicable billing period.
Auto-renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refunds are issued for partial periods.
Mid-cycle changes. Adding or removing add-ons, changing seat count, or otherwise modifying the configuration mid-cycle prorates to the day. Charges or credits are applied to the next invoice.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stelv will retry the charge up to 3 times over a 14-day period and notify the account owner. If payment cannot be collected after the retry window, the Service may be suspended. Customer Data is preserved during suspension in accordance with §9.
Pricing changes. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days’ written notice prior to your next billing cycle.
Payment processor. All payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc. Stelv does not store card numbers, CVCs, or full card details on its own infrastructure; card data is collected by Stripe and is never transmitted to or stored on Stelv servers. See §19 for additional sub-processor information.
9. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at start@stelv.dev. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
Upon cancellation, you retain read-only access to your data for 30 days to allow for data export. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems. Customers on a custom contract may negotiate alternative data retention terms in writing.
Stelv reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail to pay, or engage in activity that threatens the security or performance of the Service.
10. Customer Portal
The Service includes an optional customer portal that allows your customers to view their order status and shipment tracking information. You are responsible for managing which information is visible through the portal. The portal does not expose pricing, cost data, internal notes, or other customers’ information.
11. Third-Party Integrations
The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Firebase (authentication and data storage), and 17TRACK (shipment tracking, where the corresponding add-on is enabled). A complete list of sub-processors is maintained in §19. These integrations are provided for convenience, and Stelv is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of service of third-party providers. You acknowledge that use of these integrations may be subject to the respective third-party terms.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, documentation, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Stelv. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service during your subscription term. This license does not transfer any ownership rights in the Service to you.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stelv will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from or related to the Service or these terms. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, business interruption, or failure to meet any duty including of good faith or reasonable care.
Stelv’s total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the total fees paid by you to Stelv in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Warranty Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Stelv does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected within any specific timeframe.
Stelv does not guarantee ISO 9001 certification, regulatory compliance, audit outcomes, or specific business results from use of the Service. The quality management tools are designed to support your compliance efforts, but certification decisions rest with your registrar.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stelv from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the account owner at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
18. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to start@stelv.dev.
19. Sub-Processors
Stelv uses the following sub-processors to deliver the Service. Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function and is bound by its own data protection commitments.
- Stripe Inc. (payment processing) — receives and stores all payment information, including card numbers, CVCs, billing addresses, and transaction history. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
- Firebase / Google Cloud (authentication and data storage) — stores Customer Data, user credentials, and session tokens. Subject to Google Cloud’s data protection terms.
- Vercel (application hosting for app.stelv.dev) — processes Customer Data submitted to the application during normal use of the Service.
- Resend (transactional email) — receives Customer email addresses and message contents to deliver service notifications, billing alerts, and account communications.
- Cloudflare (hosting and CDN for stelv.dev) — processes web traffic to and from the marketing site, including IP addresses and request metadata.
- 17TRACK (shipment tracking, only when the 17TRACK Live Tracking add-on is enabled) — receives carrier tracking numbers to retrieve delivery status.
Stelv will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice to the account owner before adding or replacing a sub-processor that materially affects the processing of Customer Data. The current list of sub-processors is maintained on this page; Customers should review it periodically and may object to a new sub-processor by cancelling under §9 prior to the change taking effect.
